1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets forth the principles and guidelines for using the services provided by yLinx (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy applies to all customers, users, and any other parties who access or use our Services.

By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of services, legal action, and/or reporting to appropriate authorities.

2. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited when using yLinx Services:

  • Illegal Activities: Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws and regulations.
  • Malware Distribution: Distributing viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious software.
  • Hacking and Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account.
  • Denial of Service Attacks: Launching or participating in DDoS attacks or any activity designed to disrupt services.
  • Spam and Unsolicited Communications: Sending unsolicited bulk emails, messages, or making unsolicited calls.
  • Phishing and Fraud: Engaging in phishing, identity theft, or any fraudulent activities.
  • Copyright Infringement: Distributing copyrighted material without proper authorization.
  • Child Exploitation: Any content or activity related to child exploitation or abuse.
  • Hate Speech and Harassment: Promoting hate speech, discrimination, or harassment of any kind.
  • Terrorism and Violence: Any content or activity promoting terrorism, violence, or extremism.

3. Network and Resource Usage

3.1 Bandwidth Usage: Customers must use bandwidth responsibly. Excessive usage that negatively impacts network performance for other customers is prohibited. We reserve the right to throttle or limit bandwidth for customers who exceed fair usage limits.

3.2 Server Resources: For hosting and cloud services, customers must not consume excessive server resources (CPU, memory, disk I/O) that affect the performance of other customers’ services.

3.3 Email Usage: Email services may not be used for sending spam, email bombing, false headers, or relaying unauthorized emails.

4. Security Requirements

Customers are responsible for maintaining account security, keeping passwords confidential, updating software with security patches, and using appropriate firewall/antivirus protections.

5. Content Restrictions

Prohibited content includes pornographic material, illegal drug promotion, unauthorized gambling, counterfeit goods, defamatory content, or intellectual property infringements.
